This is one of the worst campgrounds we have ever stayed in. It is totally run down. If it hadn't taken us so long to get there, we would have kept driving. The sites are full of old moldy trailers that look as if they have been there for years. There is no longer any television even though they advertise it. We locked our doors, pulled our shades and pulled out in the morning. It didn't even feel safe there. The pictures on the web site must have been taken years ago.
This park is very clean and well kept. The newer sites have no shade, and are all dg. There is only one restroom building for the whole park and it is inside the pool area. The older part of the park has shade, but the sites are small and hard to get a big camper into. One person scratched the side of his motorhome trying to park, so he changed sites. It is in the high desert, so it is windy and dusty. It is a good stopover place, but not good for an extended stay.
All of the sites are paved, but most are very unlevel. Even though we had a reservation, the people before us with no reservation got the last pull through site available. Some of the sites have grass next to them, but some only have it behind the rig. It is very clean and well kept, but the pool is part of the hotel and casino, not the campground. The lady who runs the campground is very nice and helpful.
This is a very pretty place to camp. The sites are gravel, have trees and a beautiful view of Lake Topaz. There is no cell phone service here. The playground and pool are part of the motel, not the campground. Most of the people in the store that do the check-in for the campground don't know what they are doing. It is a short walk to the casino. There is no shuttle service. We would stay here again just for the view of the lake.
All of the people camping here were permanent with the exception of 3 or 4 sites. A lot of them were very junky and unkept. Just a place to park, not a place to stay. Store is very well stocked and the people who run the park are friendly. The casino is too far to walk at night.
This is a nice park with extra large sites. It had plenty of room for tables, chairs, etc. All are pull through sites. There is nothing for kids to do. No pool, arcade, playground. The owner is very pleasant. The store is small, but pretty well stocked. Good place to spend a night or two.
